Modeling Chocolate From Chocolate Melting Discs

Yields: Approx. 2-1/2 Cups

1 Pound Chocolate Melting Discs
2/3 Cup Light Corn Syrup

*Microwave needs to be at half power*
**Grease your measuring spoon with vegetable oil
or shortening, so corn syrup will slide off**

Step 1: Melt the discs in microwave safe bowl in microwave.
30 seconds for the first time, then 10 second intervals
until chocolate is melted, stirring chocolate at the end
of each interval.

Step 2: Stir chocolate until smooth and lump free, and then
add corn syrup. Chocolate will start to seize almost instantly,
but keep stirring until all corn syrup is incorporated.
It will look like a big blob of chocolate, and
have the texture of a tootsie roll.

Step 3: Put blob of chocolate in a freezer safe resealable bag,
eliminating all air, and put it in the refrigerator. Once
dough is cold, take out of fridge and bag.

Knead until it is workable.

It'll be really hard when it comes out of the fridge, if time permits,
allow dough to warm up a bit before using it. It'll be easier to work with

Wrapped well, it can be stored in the fridge for approx 6-9 months.
